On Saturday 29th January we had our first Saturday workday in the new Peace Garden.The temperature never really got much above zero and so we needed to keep busy.
We dug trenches for hedge planting, moved the Home Front Recall Memorial, began to create gravel paths with log-roll edging, pruned hedging, prepared the ground for paving and even managed to re-turf the Anderson Shelter.
